program will include invocation by a Christian priest, keynote
address by a Jewish Rabbi and prayer for peace by a Muslim Imam,
representing three major faiths of the world. In addition five
persons representing five geo-cultural areas of the world nemely
Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Far East and Anglo-West, will
adorn the celeberation with their respective messages for peace
standing in their national attire. The winner of a high school
level essay competition will read out the winning essay to the
audiance. Music will be conducted and will elevate our spirits
to feel the joy of peace. We at Charlotte wish our brothers, sisters
and our children around the world peace and joy. Please remember
that the forces of peace are stronger than forces of violance
and destruction.
