United Nations member countries agreed to celebrate September 21, The
International Day of Peace as a Global Ceasefire and Day of Peace &
Nonviolence in our homes, our communities and between nations. Peace
Day has been a focal point for community-uniting and peace-inspiring
events since its inception in 1981.
Together we can create a more peaceful, just and sustainable world,
one heart, one family, one community at a time. Join the Countdown To
Peace and help inspire your community to create humanity's first day
of peace, ever.
YOU
CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
- Ask
your favorite organization, group or religious institution to support
the International Day of Peace
- Plan or attend a Peace Day Event in
your community (scheduled events include concerts, parades, marches,
fasts, conferences, festivals, gatherings, service projects, ceremonies,
children's activities such as peace art & essay contests and pinwheels
for peace, Peace Day parties and peace vigils)
- Ask
your Mayor, City Council, Governor and Head of State to declare a Proclamation
of Peace
- Print
out Flyers, Posters and other Resources

IDP Vigil : The
International Church of Copenhagen, along with the congregation of
Sankt Andreas, a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in
Denmark, will be holding a prayer service, observing the International
Day of Prayer for Peace.

Westh Larsen, Susanne: On the 21st of September I will give
invocations, prayers, decrees and sing to beloved Elohim of the 6th
ray, Peace and Aloha and give rosaries to beloved Mother Mary for
perpetual peace on earth, in all nations and in the hearts of all
mankind not only this one day, but every day.

(Children's International Summer Villages) Denmark: We at CISV
Denmark are happy to be included this initiative for peace. We will
